Berta Bridal London Show with House of Thabiso.

Bold. Feminine. Sexy.

These are the three key words that spring to mind when someone mentions one of the biggest names in bridal - Berta. This show was no exception.

Hosted by The Wedding Club in the stunning Kimpton Fitzroy London, Berta unveiled her latest Athens collection to over 400 guests & fans alike, showering them with shimmering fabrics & delicate lace which had brides & vendors snapping away for the best image to share on social media as fast as they could.

Along with my core team of makeup artists & hairstylists in House of Thabiso, we created a look to bring out the inner Venus in every model. For makeup, we wanted something which drew attention to the eyes without sparkle, so created a dramatic smokey eye using the matte shadows from the Marc Jacobs Scandalust palette, accented by Eylure Duo & Trio Lashes topped with Marc Jacobs Film Noir Mascara. Skin was then kept radiant & glowing as we sculpted cheeks to give definition as the models were walking down the runway. For hair, each model had her own character to play - Hollywood waves, sleek chignons & elevated top knots were expertly refined by Maxx & Clare-Louise & then adorned with gold crowns & stunning hairpieces by Flourish.
